วารสารวิทยาศาสตร์และนวัตกรรมเชิงพื้นที่ (Journal of Science and Area-based Innovation: JSAI) เป็นวารสารวิชาการออนไลน์แบบ Open Access ของสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัยและบทความวิชาการที่ประยุกต์ใช้วิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหา การพัฒนาเชิงพื้นที่และพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตในพื้นที่ท้องถิ่น ชุมชน และภูมิภาค บทความทุกเรื่องต้องแสดงการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างองค์ความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์กับการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์จริงในพื้นที่เป้าหมายอย่างชัดเจน

วารสารครอบคลุม 3 สาขาหลัก ตามการจัดหมวดหมู่ของ TCI ได้แก่

สาขาที่ 1 Life Sciences Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Food Science, Plant Science

สาขาที่ 2 Health Sciences Public Health, Environmental and Occupational Health, Medicine (miscellaneous)

สาขาที่ 3 Physical Sciences Environmental Science (miscellaneous), Management, Monitoring, Policy and Law

กระบวนการพิจารณาและประเมินบทความ

วารสารวิทยาศาสตร์และนวัตกรรมท้องถิ่น มีการตรวจสอบคุณภาพแต่ละขั้นตอนของการดำเนินงานอย่างเคร่งครัด

  1. ผู้นิพนธ์ (และคณะ) ต้องรับรองว่าบทความที่ส่งมาพิจารณาเผยแพร่ในวารสาร ไม่เคยเผยแพร่ในที่อื่นใดมาก่อน และจะไม่นำส่งไปเพื่อพิจารณาเผยแพร่ในวารสารอื่นจนกว่าจะไม่ผ่านการพิจารณา หรือได้รับอนุมัติให้ยุติการพิจารณาจากบรรณาธิการ
  2. การส่งบทความเพื่อเผยแพร่ในวารสาร ให้ส่งในเว็บไซต์ https://li05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JSAI/ เท่านั้น โดยต้องกรอกข้อมูลต่าง ๆ ตามแบบฟอร์มในเว็บไซต์ให้สมบูรณ์ และแนบไฟล์ต้นฉบับบทความที่ไม่มีการระบุผู้เขียน (ต้องไม่มีชื่อผู้เขียน หน่วยงานสังกัด และอีเมล บรรณาธิการจะส่งไฟล์นี้ให้ผู้ประเมิน) และอาจแนบไฟล์อื่น ๆ เช่น รูป ตาราง กราฟ
  3. บทความที่จะเผยแพร่ในวารสารต้องผ่านการพิจารณาจากผู้ประเมิน (Peer review) ในแต่ละสาขา ไม่น้อยกว่า 3 ท่าน ผู้ประเมินจะไม่ทราบชื่อผู้เขียนและผู้เขียนจะไม่ทราบชื่อผู้ประเมิน (Double-blinded review system) โดยผู้ประเมินและผู้เขียนต้องอยู่ต่างหน่วยงานกัน
  4. การยอมรับบทความเป็นสิทธิของบรรณาธิการ และบรรณาธิการสงวนสิทธิ์ในการตรวจแก้ไขบทความ และอาจส่งกลับคืนให้ผู้เขียนแก้ไข เพิ่มเติม หรือพิมพ์ต้นฉบับใหม่

The Journal of Science and Area-based Innovation (JSAI)is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, Thailand. JSAI publishes original research and review articles that apply science, technology, and innovation to address local challenges and improve quality of life at the community, district, and regional levels. All manuscripts must demonstrate an explicit linkage between scientific knowledge and its practical application in a defined local area or target community.

Aims and Scope

JSAI covers three subject areas under the TCI Subject Area Classification:

  • Subject Area 1: Life Sciences Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Food Science, Plant Science
  • Subject Area 2: Health Sciences Public Health, Environmental and Occupational Health, Medicine (miscellaneous)
  • Subject Area 3: Physical Sciences Environmental Science (miscellaneous), Management, Monitoring, Policy and Law

Article Types

Research Articles and Review Articles in Thai or English.

Peer Review

All manuscripts undergo Double-blind Peer Review by three independent expert reviewers.

Publication Schedule

Three issues per year — Issue 1: January– April | Issue 2: June–December

Open Access

JSAI is a fully open-access journal. All articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

Peer Review and Assessment Process

The Journal of Science and Area-based Innovation (JSAI) adheres to a strict and transparent quality control process at every stage of publication to ensure academic excellence and practical impact.

1. Integrity and Originality

Authors (and co-authors) must guarantee that the manuscript submitted for publication has not been previously published elsewhere and is not currently under consideration by any other journal. The manuscript must remain exclusive to JSAI until a final decision is made or a formal withdrawal is approved by the Editor-in-Chief.

2. Submission Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the official ThaiJO platform at: https://li05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JSAI/.

  • Anonymized Manuscript: To facilitate a fair review, authors must upload a primary manuscript file that contains no identifying information (e.g., names, affiliations, or email addresses).

  • Supporting Files: Authors may upload supplementary files, including high-resolution figures, tables, and datasets, as required.

3. Peer Review Mechanism

JSAI employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure objectivity.

  • Number of Reviewers: Every manuscript undergoes evaluation by at least three (3) independent experts in the relevant field.

  • Anonymity: The identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are concealed from the authors throughout the process.

  • Institutional Independence: Reviewers must not be affiliated with the same institution as the authors to prevent any conflict of interest.

4. Editorial Authority and Final Decision

The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief.

  • The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit the manuscript for clarity, formatting, and style.

  • The Editor may return the manuscript to the authors for revision, clarification, or resubmission based on the reviewers' feedback.
