Factors Related to Fatigue Level among Beauty Salon Workers in Mueang Si Kai Subdistrict, Warin Chamrap District, Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract

This Descriptive Research aimed to determine fatigue level and factors related to fatigue level among beauty salon workers in Mueang Si Kai Subdistrict, Warin Chamrap District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The study population 45 persons and study instrument were questionnaire, Rapid Entire Body Assessment Questionnaire (REBA) and Cornell Musculoskeletal Disorder Questionnaire (CMDQ). Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Kruskal-Wallis test and Chi-square. The study result relevance that most of beauty salon workers were female (62.22%), age more than 33 year olds (53.33%), body mass index were normal (37.78%), no congenital disease (91.11%), exercise lower than 3 times per week (62.23%), working hours more than 9 hours per day (55.56%), working days lower than 6 days per week (55.56%), break time lower than 4 hours per day (51.11%), working year more than 8 year (60.00%). Study of Ergonomics factors found that low risk level (x̅ = 0.38, S.D. = 0.46), study different of fatigue in body part by CMDQ questionnaire found no statically different. And study of factors related fatigue among beauty salon workers found that the ergonomics factors had statically significant at 0.05 with fatigue level among beauty salon workers (χ²= 15.616, p-value = 0.009) but other factors no statically significant.
